What is my oil ratio mix for my two-stroke?

Most two strokes mix 50:1. There are some like mercury race motors that mix 32:1. There are some that are posted to mix 100:1 but those are from the 80's and should be mixed at 50:1.

What two stroke oil do I need?

If you have a regular carberated engine or a EFI engine it uses a Premium Plus TCW3 oil which is carried in our shop.


If your engine is direct injection, which is different than oil injection, it needs direct injection oil such as; XD 50, XD100, Sierra DFI oil, and Mercury Optimax oil.  

How often should I change my water pump? 

We recommend:

Outboards, once every three years

​

Mercruizer, Alpha Drives, and OMC Stern drives, once every three years

​

Volvo Drives, Bravo Drives, and Direct and V Drive, no less than every 2 years. Some require every year

What fuel should I run in my boat?

We are always looking for the freshest fuel available. So, with soaring gas prices more people are choosing to by 87 octane fuel at the pump. This means that it the pumps are being refueled with 87 octane gas more frequently than 89 and 91 octane.

How often should I service my boat?

Once a year for general check up and service
